This English text is provided for convenience. The Japanese Terms of Use are the authoritative version; if the two differ, the Japanese version prevails.
Please read these terms before using Avatar Blink Fix (the "Tool"). By installing or using the Tool, you are deemed to have agreed to these terms.
1. About the Tool
- The Tool is a Unity editor extension for VRChat avatars that repairs eye BlendShapes broken by facial expression editing
- There is a free edition and a paid edition (differences → Free vs Complete Edition)
- The paid edition is sold on the Avatar Blink Fix page on BOOTH
The Tool is provided under these proprietary terms. It is not open-source software. Copyright in its code and other content belongs to LEMONERU or the respective rights holders. Including source code in a download does not grant permission to reuse it in other products or redistribute it.
2. What you may do
- Create and modify avatars with the Tool and publish or stream them in VRChat and elsewhere
- Videos, streams, and social media posts featuring avatars fixed with the Tool are free to make
- Introductions and tutorials about the Tool (videos, articles, etc.) are free to make
- Adjusting settings for your own environment is free
- Install a legitimately obtained copy of the Tool in Unity projects you use, and make backups needed for your own use. The paid edition's unlock key may be used only by the purchaser
3. Prohibited
- Redistributing, selling, sharing, or claiming authorship of the Tool or the unlock key
- Without the author's permission, republishing, repurposing, or incorporating all or part of the Tool's source code or DLL into other software, or distributing or selling modified versions. Normal installation and backups described under "What you may do" are excluded
- Modifying or disabling the free edition's restrictions or the unlock key check to obtain paid features, or publishing / distributing methods to do so
- Distributing, selling, or claiming authorship of mesh data generated by the Tool
- Use for defamation, or for political or religious activities
- Use that violates the law
These prohibitions do not restrict acts permitted by applicable law. Separate express permissions apply within their stated scope. Third-party software and assets remain subject to their respective licenses.
4. Generated data
- Meshes, animations and other data generated by the Tool are subject to the terms of the original avatar
- Where the original avatar's terms and these terms differ, the original avatar's terms prevail
- Generated data may not be distributed or sold on its own (see "Prohibited")
5. The unlock key
- The paid edition's unlock key may be used only by the purchaser
- Do not give the key's contents, or anything equivalent, to third parties
- The key is stored in your PC's Unity EditorPrefs. It can be removed anytime via the Tool's [Return to trial] button
6. Disclaimer
- The author accepts no liability for any damage arising from use of the Tool
- No guarantee is made of complete operation, nor of operation in the future
- The Tool repairs BlendShapes. It has no feature that automatically fixes expression animation files themselves
- If a problem occurs while using the Tool, please do not contact the avatar's creator or other third parties (→ Contact)
- As a digital product, no returns or refunds are accepted
7. Changes to these terms
